Sendero in the Midland Reporter-Telegram

Sendero recently worked with BCarbon to generate 10,475 verified methane elimination credits under the MEEWP protocol by plugging a leaking Seaboard Operating Company well. The credit value helps offset plugging costs, giving the operator a clean path to closure without divestiture or long-term idle status. The work followed a rigorous process: methane evidence, a pre-plugging plan, third-party validation, post-closure testing, and follow-up testing planned to confirm the well remains emissions-free.

For operators, this is a proof point. With the right measurement and plugging approach, operators can close wells responsibly, reduce long-term liabilities, and eliminate methane across portfolios.
